Dear Michael Mann,

How did you manage to take such a solid story and more-than-capable cast and turn it into one of the most run-of-the-mill movies ever?  You want to know what I thought of Public Enemies?  There was no "wow" effect.  There was no suspense.  The character development wasn't there.  The cinematography was inconsistent.  It was predictable.  It was boring.  That's what I thought.  So thanks, Mr. Mann. Thanks for churning out yet another movie this summer that hasn't met my expectations.  In short, thanks for nothing.  You should be ashamed of yourself.
